Soundtrack Thursday #39

Today’s soundtrack selection goes to:

Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler)” – Marvin Gaye

Film: Zodiac

Fight Club, Se7en, Gone Girl and The Social Network are great Fincher films but Zodiac is my favourite.  It is underrated.  Zodiac perfectly captures a gripping paranoia, panic and fear of San Francisco in a manhunt to find the Zodiac killer.

Marvin Gayle’s ‘Inner City Blues’ is more relevant today as it was back in 1971 when it was first released.  Featuring in Zodiac became one of the musical highlights to sum up that chaotic period in time against the backdrop of social and political issues rising to the forefront in America.
